Raising The Bar And Ushering Boys To Manhood

I first read about these guys over on Denny Burk's website and then a recent publication by Tim Ellsworth concerning the bar being lowered for teenagers led me to this post. Alex and Brett Harris are twins who decided to take seriously the call by Paul in which he tells Timothy not to let anyone look down on him because of his age but show yourself an example in speech, conduct, purity, love and faith. So what do they do? They start a rebelution.

You can visit there site here.

You can listen to an interview with Alex and Brett with Dr. Mohler here. ( I recommend you listen to this one.)

If you want to read more by Tim Ellsworth, you can do so here.

Some questions:
-Why is the mentality that "kids will be kids" accepted as an excuse for childish behavior?
-Should kids be indoctrinated in to thinking that childhood is better than adulthood so as to make them want to continue in their childish ways?
-Do you think Alex and Brett are on to something worth looking into?
-Why does culture accept teenagers acting as immature children as the norm? Should higher standards be enforced and if so, by whom?
