2008 Presidential Election

If you could post one compelling argument why someone should pick your candidate of choice this early in the campaign process, what would it be?

I am still cycling through Fred Thompson, Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul. Sometimes I give up on Fred and that drops me down to Mike and Ron. Sometimes I struggle with Ron's isolationist strategy (although I like it in principal, I just don't know that his plan is realistic) and that brings me around to Mike, and Fred will do something to spark my interest back in him and then I start looking at Paul again... the cycle goes on.

So, if you are leaning a certain way or know who you intend to vote for, what has persuaded you?

Charisma.
If our nominations look like Mondale or Dukakis from the 80's for the Democrats, we might as well throw in the towel now.
Charisma.
If they are as wooden as Al Gore, we might as well give up now.

It sucks. I find the candidate closest to what I believe and then lean toward the intangibles.
That's why I am heavily leaning toward Huckabee.

I though that this quiz was actually pretty fair.

There is a difference between isolationism and non-intervention. Dr. Paul is a non-interventionist and he also happens to be a honest, humble man. http://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/ He can explain himself better than I can. Have a nice day.
