I blogged on this a while back (you can read it here along with the original letter). Time 2 Change Churches also wrote against it here.
Since then Denny Burk has picked up on this story along with the fact that even though several prominent Christian evangelicals have signed the list, at least two prominent figures have not.
Dr. R. Albert Mohler and Dr. John Piper were not among the signatories, and both of them have spoken publicly against “A Christian Response.”
You can view and listen their responses here.
-Does this change your view of the letter at all?
-Do you think the arguments presented against are convincing?
-Why do you think multiple evangelicals have signed in approval of the list, but these two have not?
-Which stance do you think is correct?
