Of course you can download the CDs and not worry about shipping (great idea if you’re outside the U.S.).That means that for the month of February you can buy Valley of Vision, In a Little While, Savior, Worship God Live, You and You Alone, Upward, Songs for the Cross Centered Life, and every other Sovereign Grace produced CD for just six dollars. CD or download. As many as you want or can give away. You’ll also be able to purchase Why Small Groups, How Can I Change, and our three other Pursuit of Godliness books for five bucks. In addition, we’ll be selling our two-volume songbook, with over 250 songs, for $40. And that’s not all (suddenly I feel like a Ronco knives infomercial). During February all our piano scores can be downloaded for $1. Full sets will only be $6.Why are we doing this? A few reasons. The primary mission of Sovereign Grace Ministries is to serve Sovereign Grace pastors who are giving their lives to build Gospel-centered local churches. We want to do everything we can to help them serve the people they lead. Providing Christ-exalting, biblically faithful music and books in one of the ways we can do that. We also want to make it as easy as possible for other churches and individuals to have access to what we produce.

A suggestion:
-The book called Humility is a great humbling read.

Some questions:
-Do you think it is more important to have theologically sound music sung in Church worship services or emotionally driven music sung in Church worship services?
-Do you think it is a good thing to offer products like this for cheaper prices or like Desiring God Ministries does for free if need be?

I think it is extremely important to sing doctrinally sound music in our worship serves. I've thrown out songs that we did before I took over the music program because they made claims that were not based upon the bible.

I also think is a wonderful idea to offer these products for reduced prices or even free. The more people that learn biblical truths the better. Nice work linking to Desiring God, They're one of my favorites.

By the way.
Who is Sovereign Grace?

Timm,

I have taken this directly from their "about us" page.

Sovereign Grace Ministries is a family of churches passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are devoted to planting and supporting local churches, with a strong doctrinal basis that is evangelical, Reformed, and charismatic.

We support our churches personally and relationally, as well as through a variety of training opportunities and resources you will find described through this website, including music, books and periodicals, conferences and events, and audio and video materials.

We hope your visit to our website doesn't simply inform you, but also draws your attention to the Savior whose sacrifice on the cross makes all our efforts possible.

I would further add that I find myself in agreement with them. Notice their use of charismatic in the above quoted text. I think they deal with this aspect in a Biblical manner.

In light of that, the church of which I am a member is a Southern Baptist Church.

I recommend you bookmark their site and subscribe to some of their materials. You will be all the better for it.

For more on them, check out the wiki here.
