I'm first! I'm first! This is not all that deep, but right now I am looking at laptops on ebay (mine has been converted into a desktop since I broke the hindge) I am just nervous to bid on these high priced items when I can't really know how honest the seller is...and then theres the Gateway that just sold for $24. Too good to be true...

One more thing, has anyone read the book "Blue Like Jazz"? Is is good?

One more thing...Last nioght I watched Glenn Beck on CNN. He was
'debating' with Al Sharpton on his recent comment were he implied that Mormans are not Christians. Beck says that he is a Morman/Christian...he believes the terms are synonymous. Here is the transcript.
Al Sharpton Defends Comments About Mormonism

What do you think? I have heard you talk about it...what do mormans really believe?

Kellye, the hinge on my laptop broke months ago, too....it's now a desktop! ;)

And, I've read Blue Like Jazz. It's a very interesting read. I disagree with a lot of Miller's ecclesiology and theology, but he has some really thought provoking points. He's a great writer, though, so you'll probably get through it quickly...I like his prosey style. I'd like to read some of his other books.
It's been a while since I read BLJ, so if you read it and want to dialogue about it, let me know so I can scan through it again.

As for the laptops, make sure you find a seller who has sold a lot and you maintains a 98-100% positive rating from buyers. Also, make sure they take paypal and make sure that you can buy insurance on the shipping.
