A 16 year old boy from Phoenix, AZ entered a packed church service with around 700 in attendance carrying in a backpack containing 15 homemade explosives. Later ushers heard an explosion and found the boy with some friends in the parking lot after detonating one of the explosives. The police were called and conducted a search of the boys home using the bomb squad. The parents commented that they knew their son was interested in bombs and Sgt. Andrew Duncan stated he believed it was just experimentation.
