A recent film that is on limited release in the U.S. by filmmaker Tony Kaye, known for American History X, attempts to show both sides of the abortion argument. Here is a quote from the article below.
One scene depicts a doctor sifting through a surgical tray after performing a late-term abortion, where the grisly residue of an arm, a foot and part of a face can be clearly made out.
"It's about as shocking as any motion picture can ever get. It's illegal to film someone being killed," said Kaye.
They may be the kind of images used by anti-abortion activists, but Kaye also doesn't shy from showing pictures of a kneeling and bent-over naked woman who died after performing a botched abortion on herself with a wire coat hanger.

My concern about the film is that it will not be a fair representation of pro-lifers. I hate abortion, but I'm not willing to stand outside of a clinic and yell scripture and condemning words at women. I only saw clips of crazed people protesting in the trailer. That does not reflect well at all on the rest of us. Part of me wants to see the film, but since I can't view abortion images on the internet without getting physically ill, I'll probably have to pass.

After watching the trailer it does not look very balanced perse, but upon reading the article it does appear to show a plethora of views on the subject and not just the extremes (and one middle road view) that are shown in the trailer.
I am sure the trailer is there to polarize and actually get people to see it and not so much to be an accurate portrayal of the documentary itself.
