I admire him for his stance. Yes, Hollywood is too far gone, yet we must keep trying. I watch and read a lot of things that don't mention God. They have no effect on my relationship with Him, however. I pray/talk to Him much of the day/night.
Kirk does make a difference.
But is it beneficial?
I think he should have done the show. If it is good enough, and gets an audience, his ability to set the agenda increases. BTW, you don't have to be blatantly religous in order to get a point across.
As for Kirk Cameron, the jury is still out for me on that one.
I understand a lot of people are not very supportive of Kirk Cameron. I have to admit, I was skeptical at first, but he has won me over.
