Clawing Your Way To The Perfect Heart

Owning a feline could reduce your chance of suffering from a heart attack by one third. The benefit of owning a dog has yet to be found.

You can read more here.
You can read the study here.

Some questions:
-Would this increase the chances of finding a litter box in your home?
-If you found great disdain for felines, do you think this statistic would hold true for you?
-What can you do with a cat?

Nope. No way, no how. William thinks cats are of the devil. I am so allergic to them that my eyes will swell shut if I touch one. We're better off without.

I've always loved cats - dogs, too. Most nights of the week my wife and I will have one cat straddled across our laps and the other perched on the back of the couch behind our head - he likes to fall asleep in my wife's hair - while the dog is snoring at our feet.

The poor things have no idea how much life is about to change for them.

We had 2 cats for years while the kids were growing up. They were treasured, and they sad days when each died. We had one of them for 17 years, and the other for 12.

On the other hand, we don't miss the litter box, the fur, or having to make arrangements to feed them when we go on vacation.

They are much more independent than dogs, so you can leave more often.

Oh, yeah,
Petting a purring kitty is very relaxing for me.

definitely not--I live with Amanda and she despises felines, and I am not too fond of them myself. :)

I prefer dogs...although I don't have any of those either--too much maintainance...maybe one day!

Do you know what the difference is between cats and dogs?
Dogs think they are human and cats think they are god.
I like both animals.
