I saw this over at Time 2 Change Churches. It apparently is part of Youth Specialties material for youth groups (A "Christian" youth shop of ideas kind of). What are your thoughts?
All I can say is "sick". What other religion would allow their church to make a mockery of their god like that? There is a need to reach out to youth but not by making the gospel funny.
I agree with you ginger! Unfortunately too many churches are falling for this kind of "fun" for the youth. I saw where one church was glorifying John Lennon of the Beatles (even though he said he was more popular than Jesus!)
Don't forget the classic... Bono. He's a true blue Christian role model. (Yes, I'm be sarcastic.)
I don't know of any other religion, Ginger, that would allow an outright mockery of the object of their faith such as this one. Of course, I don't believe that TRUE Christianity allows this either.
